Acceptance

By using AnnotateIt, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

Permitted Use

You may use AnnotateIt to create, edit, import, export and manage annotation projects and datasets for lawful personal, educational, research or business purposes.

Your Content

You retain your rights in media, datasets, labels, annotations and exports you process with AnnotateIt. You are responsible for having the rights, permissions and lawful basis needed to use that content.

Local Storage and Backups

The current product stores project content locally. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate exports and backups. Clearing browser storage, uninstalling an app, device failure, storage eviction or unsupported platform changes may remove local content.

AI-assisted Output

Model predictions and automated annotations may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing annotation quality, export correctness and suitability for your use case before relying on results.

You Agree Not To

  • Use AnnotateIt in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Attempt to interfere with, abuse or bypass security controls in the app or related infrastructure.
  • Use the service to distribute malware or conduct unauthorized security testing.
  • Misrepresent model output or annotation quality where doing so could cause harm.

Privacy and Infrastructure

Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy and Data Flow. The web version uses public infrastructure to deliver application and model files; this does not upload project content.

Updates and Availability

Features, supported platforms, model capabilities, dataset formats and service availability may change. Updates may be required for security, compatibility or legal reasons.

Third-party Components

AnnotateIt includes third-party software and platform components. See Third-party notices.

Disclaimer

AnnotateIt is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
