What to Include
- AnnotateIt version and build number.
- Platform, browser and operating-system version.
- Project type and import or export format, when relevant.
- Exact error text and minimal steps to reproduce the issue.
Do not attach a private dataset by default. Reproduce the problem with a synthetic or redacted sample whenever possible. If project content is required, ask us to agree a secure transfer method first.
Support Request Retention
Support messages and attachments are retained for up to 24 months after the last correspondence, unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You may request earlier deletion where applicable.
FAQ
- Where is my data stored? Projects, media and annotations are stored on your device or in browser-managed local storage.
- Do local AI tools upload my images? No. The web version downloads model files, then performs inference on your device.
- Can browser data be lost? Yes. Clearing site data, private-browsing cleanup, storage eviction or reinstalling the app can remove local projects. Export important projects regularly.
- Can I export my annotations? Yes. Available formats depend on the project type.
